Your exploration commences at the ticket counter, where you obtain your pass, marking the start of your adventure. Upon stepping inside, the rich flora and diverse avian life greet you, each species adding its unique charm to the surroundings. As you progress, you’ll encounter the Bhandup Pumping Station’s water treatment facility, exemplifying the conservation efforts in this oasis. The wetlands come alive with avian diversity, where every bird contributes to the complex ecosystem. Take a moment to delve into avian behaviour, listen to their calls, and gain insights into the threats they face and their conservation status. As the trail concludes, the group disperses, leaving you with a sense of fulfilment after an immersive journey through a thriving wetland ecosystem, where every step exposes you to the splendour of nature.
The trail is suitable for ages 5 and above. Customised group trails are also organised.
